Dinner night playmakers
Peas is an indoor play and community space in Nyack for kids aged 0–6 and their families. We believe in the power of recreational play, meaningful connection, and creating a space that’s just as joyful for grown-ups as it is for little ones. Our weekend birthday parties are playful, creative, and low-stress - and we’re building a small team to help make each one special.
About Peas:
Warm, energetic, and reliable people who enjoy spending time with kids ages 0–6. You can balance fun and structure, keep activities flowing, and make sure every child feels safe and included. You’re comfortable managing mealtime and handling the occasional mess with good humor. Bonus if you have experience in childcare, camps, teaching, or other kid-focused roles.
Who we’re looking for:
Dinner Night Playmakers help host our evening drop-off programs, where kids enjoy supervised playtime, a shared kid-friendly dinner, and a kids’ movie while their grown-ups have a night out. You’ll:
Arrive early to set up play areas and the dining space
Welcome kids and families at check-in
Lead or assist with age-appropriate activities (play, dance parties, movie time)
Supervise and assist during mealtime
Keep the evening running smoothly and joyfully
Clean up and reset the space at the end of the event
