What is Peas PlayCare?

Peas Playcare is Nyack’s modern indoor play space for babies, toddlers, and young children (ages 0–6). We offer open play, enrichment classes, drop-off care, memberships, birthday parties, and family-friendly events — all in a warm, clean, community-centered environment.

Where is Peas located?

69 Lydecker Street, Nyack, NY


Peas is located in the heart of Nyack; a short walk from Main Street and Broadway.

Parking

Free parking:
We have five Peas-designated spaces behind the building labeled “Peas Parking Only.” You may also use any unmarked spaces in the lot that do not have a reserved sign.

Metered parking:
Available along Broadway, Main Street, and in the Village Municipal Lot off Main Street.

Where not to park:
Avoid spaces marked “Reserved,” “Official Use Only,” or “Village Hall Parking.” These are for Village officials — parking there may result in a ticket.

Where is the entrance?

If you park in the rear lot, walk along the sidewalk on the side of the building.


Our entrance is the large glass entryway — Peas is located up a short flight of seven stairs.

Are strollers allowed?

Yes. You can park your stroller in our glass entryway — it’s monitored and generally safe, though left at your discretion.

Prefer to bring it inside? Just ask, and a staff member will help you carry it up the steps.

What ages is Peas for?

Peas is designed for children 0–6 years old.


Older siblings are welcome as long as they’re gentle and safe around younger children.

Do I need to book in advance?

We recommend booking on Sawyer to guarantee your spot. Walk-ins are welcome when space allows.

General policies

  • Socks required for adults and children in all play areas

  • Grippy socks are highly encouraged. The hard floors can be slippery, especially for little runners.

  • Outside snacks are welcome in the coffee lounge. No food or drink in the play areas.

  • Please no contagious sick children - no fevers for 24+ hours before arriving. No transferable rashes or other illnesses. Please use your best judgment and keep Peas safe for all.

  • Please closely supervise your children closely at all times.

  • Drinks with lids are appreciated.

Nut-Aware Facility

  • Peas is a nut-aware facility - meaning that we do not sell or provide any snack with nuts in them, but they may be brought in by other guests.

  • We ask that you clean your eating area, and your child’s hands, to protect our other little visitors that may have allergies.
