Looking for a fun, flexible job working with kids? Peas Playcare in Nyack is hiring Play Care Counselors to support our parties, playcare programs, and special events.
Counselors help create a safe, playful, and welcoming environment where kids can have fun and parents can relax. Depending on the program, that might mean leading games and crafts, helping with birthday celebrations, supervising playtime, serving food, or hosting dinner-and-play nights. Every shift is about keeping things smooth, joyful, and stress-free for kids and families.

Peas Playcare is a community-centered play space in the heart of Nyack. We offer drop-in playcare, birthday parties, and special evening programs for kids. Our mission is simple: create a fun, safe space where children can play and grow, and parents feel supported.
Who we’re looking for:
Energetic, reliable, and great with kids
Friendly and positive team player
Responsible and safety-minded
Experience with kids is a plus
What the job entails:
Play with and supervise kids in our indoor play space
Lead games, crafts, and fun activities
Welcome families and keep the vibe positive
Help with food, cake, or dinner service when needed
Set up, clean up, and reset the space
Employment-Type: Part-time / weekend-based
Age Requirement: 16 and older
Pay: $16-17/hour
Hours: Between 8 - 28 hours per week, depending on your availability.
We schedule based on when you say you’d like to work. Shifts are mostly for weekends but may be on weekdays too.
