We’re celebrating our official ribbon cutting with the Village of Nyack — and you’re invited!
Join us for a joyful day of free open play, special guest activities, and festive holiday crafts in our warm, cozy Peas space.
HOW IT WORKS
To keep Peas comfortable and fun for everyone, we’re using free 2-hour open play reservations. Please book one time slot per family. All activities are included with your visit, and the 10:00–12:00 session includes our ribbon cutting and special morning programming with our guests and Peas teachers.
MORNING CELEBRATION SCHEDULE (10:00–12:00)
All special activities take place during the 10:00–12:00 session. Activities are first come, first served and open to all children attending this time block.
- 10:00am — Ribbon Cutting with the Mayor
- 10:30am — Pretend and Imagine (Classroom)
- 11:00am — Music with Bess (Main Playground)
- 11:30am — Italian Immersion with Manuela (Classroom)
- 1:00pm — Kids Sound Bath with The Collier Company
- All day — Holiday Arts & Crafts with Peas Playcare Counselors (ongoing)

Our celebration features a mix of community partners and the teachers your kids will see regularly at Peas.
- Pretend and Imagine – A special Ribbon cutting guest performance! Pretend and Imagine blends storybook theater with imaginative, play-based activities for ages 0–5. Little ones step into the story through guided dramatic play, movement, and hands-on exploration — building creativity, confidence, and social skills along the way.
- Music with Bess – One of our delightful Peas teachers, Bess leads joyful music & movement sessions filled with songs, instruments, and chances for kids to sing, dance, and connect with each other.
- Italian Immersion with Manuela – Our Peas Italian teacher, Manuela introduces little ones to Italian through songs, stories, and playful language games designed just for young learners.
- Zen Kids: A Sound Bath Adventure - Our newest teacher partnership! Introducing The Sound Healing Dad from The Collier Company and his amazing kids' soundbath activities. This class teaches kids about self-regulation, healing frequencies, deep breating, meditation, and much more!
RESERVE YOUR FREE 2-HOUR SESSION
Please choose one time slot for your family. Each reservation includes open play in our space; the 10–12 session also includes the ribbon cutting and special programming.
If a time slot is full on Sawyer, it will show as unavailable. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows, but reservations are strongly encouraged.
